Screwdriver overview

A screwdriver, a screwdriver [Screwdriver], a tool used to turn a screw to force it into place, usually has a thin wedge-shaped head that can be pulled out of the slot or notch of the screw head—called in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei dialect "Screwdrivers" are called screwdrivers in Shaanxi, Anhui, Henan and Hubei. There are two types: a character (minus sign) and a cross (positive sign). There are rare hexagonal screwdrivers, including inner hexagon and outer hexagon.

Screwdriver varieties

1. Ordinary screwdriver

It is a screwdriver with the head and handle built together. It is easy to prepare and can be used by just taking it out. However, because there are many different lengths and thicknesses of screws, it is sometimes necessary to prepare many different screwdrivers.

2. Combined screwdriver

A screwdriver that separates the screwdriver head from the handle. When you want to install different types of screws, you only need to replace the screwdriver head. There is no need to bring a small number of screwdrivers. The advantage is that it can save space, but it is easy to lose the screwdriver bit.

3. Electric screwdriver

Electric screwdriver, Wang Wenshengyi is to replace the manual device and remove the screw with an electric motor, usually a combination screwdriver.

Screwdriver specifications

1. The model of the flat-blade screwdriver is expressed as the width of the blade * the shank. For example, 2×75mm means that the width of the cutter head is 2mm and the length of the rod is 75mm (not the full length).

2. The model of the Phillips screwdriver is expressed as the size of the bit*shaft. For example, 2#×75mm, it means that the cutter head is No. 2 and the length of the metal rod is 75mm (not the full length). Some manufacturers use PH2 to represent 2#, and the practice is the same. You can roughly estimate the size of the cutter head by the thickness of the cutter shaft, but the industry distinguishes it by the size of the cutter head. The thickness of the metal rod corresponding to the model number 0#, 1#, 2#, 3# is approximately 3.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm, 8.0mm.
