flaming ignition sources 用悶燃和燃燒點(diǎn)火源對(duì)軟座進(jìn)行防火性能評(píng)定的測(cè)試方法
BS 5852用于判定當(dāng)受到一燃燒香煙和火柴或等同的火源，材料組合的可燃性（如軟座的覆面和填充材料）。
在英國所有款式的家庭軟墊家具必須符合“家具防火安全條款”，1988的修訂BS 5852第1部分和BS 5852第二部分被BSI撤銷，但仍用于所述引用標(biāo)準(zhǔn)提到的條款。

BS 5852測(cè)試方法：
該測(cè)試須在標(biāo)準(zhǔn)空氣流的實(shí)驗(yàn)室里進(jìn)行，覆面材料和填充物被置于一個(gè)測(cè)試設(shè)備中用來制作出一個(gè)底座和靠背成90o一個(gè)小沙發(fā)。點(diǎn)火源置于該沙發(fā)的底座和靠背之間的連接處，有6種不同的點(diǎn)火源，編號(hào)為2-7，其中2-3為氣體燃燒火源，4-7木制品燃燒火源（更高的數(shù)字代表同組更強(qiáng)烈的火源）。
在氣體燃燒過程中從開始起悶燒時(shí)間不超過30分鐘（木制品燃燒源則不超過60分鐘），如該測(cè)試不能表明火源向上100mm外不同方向均燒焦炭化，則氣體火焰在40秒后移去（火源2）或70秒后移去（火源3），沒有火焰時(shí)允許持續(xù)到移去燃燒管超過120秒后，沒有火焰時(shí)允許持續(xù)火源5測(cè)試開始10分鐘后（火源6-7則為13分鐘）。
